Rear Gearbox Mounting Redesign

It was found that traditional mounting failed to meet the minimum FOS of 1.1 under a full-assembly simulation.  The redesign involved collaborating across multiple subsystems, including frame, 2WD, 4WD, and brakes, to evaluate three countermeasures. The final optimized design achieved an FOS of 1.12, reducing the total vehicle weight by 0.7 lbs, which resulted in a more reliable and serviceable drivetrain for the 2026 vehicle.
