Drivetrain Ratio Optimization
Across three vehicle generations, I evolved RIT Baja's drivetrain optimization from a simple breakaway-torque calculation into a validated MATLAB simulation fed by drag testing & dyno data, and designed a custom Arduino CVT data acquisition system that enabled the data-driven tuning which contributed to a 3rd place finish at Maryland, with my updated R26 model projected to hit a 3.9s 100ft acceleration and 310 ft-lb output torque once CVT tuning is complete.
